Italy : Fascist GIL Cap-badge with a 1943 Mussolini 20 Lire Coin plus Fascist Collar-badge.

Light hollow-stamped alloy GIL cap-badge which has stitch-holes in the sides for sewing to the cap. The reverse has the manufacturer's name 'Ripr.Vietata'. (The Gioventù Italiana del Littorio (GIL) was the principal youth movement of the Italian National Fascist Party. It was established in 1937 to replace the previous Opera Nazionale Balilla (ONB). It was created to influence the minds of all Italian youths and effectively counter the influence of the Catholic Church on young people). The 5 Lire coin is 55mm diameter. The fasces collar-badge is aluminium alloy with a screw-post and nut fixing on the reverse. The nut is immovable but otherwise everything is in excellent condition.
