WWII Cambridgeshire Regiment

Scarce Bi/metal cap badge with pin fitting to the reverse. (May have been converted to a sweetheart brooch) Good solid strike. Cambridge Castle with the Arms of Ely to the central tower,above the title scroll, 'Cambridshire'. This is the variant pattern missing 'E'. Rumored (not confirmed) that these Mis-spelt badges were issued to Cambridge Home Guard Units.
