Third Reich : Wehrmacht / Heer M38 Pattern Kavallerie Officer's Field-cap.

Field-grey ribbed material with scalloped turn-up flap with the crown and front scallop piped in silver-wire. The cap bears BEVo-woven silver wire national emblem and cockade and a gold-yellow soutache. The sides of the cap have a single ventilation grommet. The cap is lined with a fawn silk. The cap is a very small size and shows minimal signs of having been worn but has no damage or mothing. I have had this cap in my personal collection since July 1978.
