Formation note: XV Indian Corps (15th Indian Corps) fought in the second and third Arakan Campaigns and the rest of the Burma campaign as part of 14th Army; it had the distinction of mounting nine separate assault landings along the Burmese coast, including the recapture of Rangoon.
