1918 Presentation Inkwell Desk Set. 2nd Liet H.G.Jordan, 1st Vol.Bt. Hampshire Regt.

A very nice complete presentation inkwell set to an officer serving in E company , 1st Volunteer Battalion of the Hampshire Regiment. The set has taken on a certain amount of dark patina not having been polished in many years. Both glass ink pots are undamaged, one top lid back pin has been lost being replaced by a wire. The bottom is stamped including the pattern number. Nice display piece. May i add that the date is a little hard to read and might well be 1912 but im over 50% convinced its 1918.
