WW1 British 1915 Copy of the German Lusitania Medal.

In 1915 the Germans produced a commemorative medallion designed by Karl Goetz to mark the sinking of the Lusitania. This 55mm diameter iron medallion is one of the official British replicas of that medallion and was sold as an anti-German propaganda tool to raise funds for St Dunstans during the First World War. These originally came in a box together with an explanatory leaflet. Excellent condition
