WH (Heer) General's M38 Overseas Cap

WH (Heer) General's M38 Overseas Cap (Einheitsfeldmütze M38 für Generale). The design of the General's M38 overseas cap was based on the M34 overseas cap as worn by EM/NCO's. This is a privately purchased cap made of high quality wool, the wool is showing some minor moth nipping, see photos. The interior of the cap is fully lined in grey cloth, there is a small darkgrey leather sweatband, the cap is not visible size marked. The cap is having gold coloured piping attached to the crown and side panels of the cap indicating that this cap was intended for General's ranks. On front the cap is having a flat-wire woven cap-eagle and hand-embroidered cocarde. The cap is showing some minor traces of usage and storage, see photos. Extremely rare and hard to find original General's overseas cap in very good condition.
