WW2 Canadian RAF Officers Visor Cap.

A well used example, owner really did like his brylcream pomade for sure. The outside material is slightly stained from use and storage and some minimal moth nips just under the crown area mainly to the back, have to really look to find them.Top crown material again stained but free from any moth nips. This Canadian example has the large steel painted black side air grommets and round painted side chinstrap buttons holding the usual type Canadian leather chinstrap. The front badge again the Canadian style where the background material is not cut following tightly to the design, this is attached to a ribbed band. The inside is complete with its leather sweatband with owners initials and padded top material, as noted all covered in a good layer of pomade residue! There is one good moth hole to the back of the peak revealing the peak stiffener. A nice scarce Canadian example.
