Rare WW2 Allied Military Homeing Pigeon Message Carry Tube.

In very nice condition. As used by Military message services, correspondents, special forces including SOE. I have not tried to undo the fastener as its tight and not been apart since WW2. May i add the ''PG67'' does not relate to the date! Many years ago when walking around a Cardiff boot sale i purchased a WW2 pigeon carry box for two pigeons. Inside i found numerous message books, message pencils and over 20 of these tubes. All gone now for maybe a few tubes that i keep coming across!!
