British Numbered Black Homefront MKII Steel Helmet. 1939 Dated.

Nice condition steel helmet with close to 100% of its black factory finish, inside and out. One stacking rig mark to the top. The inside rim has some faint stamps, its numbered 22 in paint and has the early Vero donut type liner system complete and dated 1939. Sorry but the date is a weak stamp so could not photograph it! Its period chinstrap is complete with some marks from use and storage. Its a size 7 1/2.
