US WWII Modified M1 05/42 Garand Bayonet, UFH 1942

Original era manufacture. Originally manufactured with a 16 inch blade, cut-down to a 10 inch blade during WWII. Spearpoint tip, parkerized finish with clear markings on the ricasso. Finish wear to the high points of the blade, with evidence of a service use sharpening to the cutting edge. Mix of original finish and steel patina on the guard and pommel. Sound black plastic grips with no issues. Original GI scabbard displaying a period repaint.
