WW1 Period RFC Type Leather Flying Helmet.

In very nice condition with supple leather , all buttons and straps present. The leather body has no snags or weak area just some staining and wear from being so old. All fixing poppers are marked N.B.Ltd. The inside has its complete lining with a clear inner label stating ''STORMGUARD'' As for size well it goes on my large head so i would presume its a medium to large. This is being advertised as a WW1 RFC item, there is no RFC stamps or dates but from period reference and todays collectors books items like this would be private purchased by the Flying officers at his local retailers. Wish it did have and RFC and date markings then i could chuck on a further 200 quid:) Anyway folks would look great with any Great War display.
