Description

A very nice early spear point manufactured in India by one of the best firms producing hunting knives, spears and daggers, Arnachellum of Salem in Tamil Nadu. The marked blade is in nice condition considering its age with staining and some pitting from water damage, mainly to one side, point has worn from age. The round cross guard design matches the way the blade has been forged with a round end,its stained and taken on a dark patina. The pommel is shaped around the curve of the stag handle, metal is a bit misshaped from use but period as can be found on a number of Arnachellum examples. The stag handle has no chips or cracks. Total length from blade tip to pommel end is..12 inches. NOT FOR SALE TO UNDER 18's AND NO INTERNATIONAL SALES.
