Description

The fathers WW1 1914/15 medal trio are stamped to 349 Cpl.J.Paulson, RAMC. Condition is very good considering they have never been polished . The WW2 Territorial set relates to the son who served in the Royal Artillery in Burma. His territorial medal is stamped..1455286 SGT G Paulson RA. Condition i would rate at very good, they have never been mounted. . These medals where purchased from a local family a couple of days ago, family related a story that there father service in Burma included his and a couple of friends capture by the Japanese during an attack. Apparently the Japanese killed his friends keeping Paulson for interrogation later, with luck there was a counter attack where Paulson managed to escape. Now as we all know a story is a story but if i had time and method i would do some further research but alas im going to leave this to the new owner!
