Officer's Victorian silver plate and gilt helmet plate with 3 bolts and 2 nuts to reverse. Worn 1850-1893. Beaded star, pierced strap and centre in silver plate. Knot in gilt. Backplate was gilt but none remains. Centre backplate is a replacement. Still a striking piece. Ref K&K Vol 1512
