Original period manufacture. Japanese WWII Type 30 bayonet, blue finished blade, straight guard, contoured wooden grips and a flat bird head pommel. The blade finish is very nice, showing mostly runner wear to the blade surface, no corrosion issues.Clear makers markings on the ricasso. Sound wood grips with a original finish, pommel lock button works properly, with a blue finish on the pommel and guard, mixed with light surface corrosion.Mix of blue finish and light steel surface corrosion patina on the near dent-free scabbard. Comes with an original brown leather frog with an oiled finish. One of the belt loops has broken away from the rear of the frog.
