German WWII SA 1938 Gruppe Hochland Sports Competition Badge/Tinnie-This silver bakelite (plastic) badge depicts a sword with an SA insignia to its hilt, which is superimposed over an oak leaf wreath and the date, “1938”. There is a banner at its bottom that contains the embossed text, “SA-Gruppen Wettkämpfe Gruppe Hochland”. The pommel cap has the SA stylized “A” insignia. The reverse of the badge has an RZM marking in a double circle, as well as the code, “M9/3”. Complete with vertical pinback device and makers marked, “Lauer Nürnberg”.
