German WWII NSDAP Banner & Party Badge, Double Sided, GI Identified Souvenir

Original era manufacture. German WWII double sided building banner with 10 cloth ties at the top, and a lead weighted bottom edge. Printed swastika on a white cotton disc which is machine sewn to the flag. At the center of the swastika is an enameled NSDAP lapel-type party pin which apparently has been in place since 1945. GI's name Pvt. Michael E. Hovanec 'Germany'. Might be some good clues for future research. Clean condition, measures about 4.5 x 9 feet.
