US M1892 30-40 Krag Bayonet, 1899 Blade Date, Leather Scabbard

Original era manufacture. Polished steel blade with a 1899 date on the  ricasso. Scattered spotting and staining to the blade surface but no pitting. We have not made any attempt to clean this bayonet, a light bath should produce good results. The point is slightly blunted.Dark steel patina finish to the guard and pommel, original wood grips which display typical light marring and denting from service use, no cracks or chips. 1912 picket pin leather scabbard, with a belt loop on the reverse.
