US WWI M1917 Doughboy Helmet, Complete

Original era manufacture. A very nice example of the standard US made Doughboy helmet of WWI. Most of the original rough paint finish is present with an intact original black oilcloth liner. The liner is maker marked R.H.Long on the underside, with what appears to be a 1918 date. Complete and unbroken leather chinstrap, with a full instruction tag in the lining. Chinstrap leather is a little dry on the edges, otherwise the helmet displays minimal wear.
