Japanese Meiji (19thc) Samurai Tobacco Or Coin Pouch (fukuro) With Sterling Clasp (kanemono) & Manju Netsuke

Japanese Meiji (19thC) intracranialy woven cloth pouch or purse (fukuro) with sterling clasp (kanemono) and ivory manju netsuke. The pouch comes with a wonderful carved ivory manju netsuke with several heavy metal kanagu and chains. The workmanship indicates that it was designed for an aristocratic samurai class individual and was probably used as a coin purse (no tobacco traces). Pouch measures approximately 12 x 9cm (4.75 x 3.5in), manju 5cm (2in) diameter, chain 12cm (4.5in).
