WW2 FFI (Free French Army) Victory Painted Souvenir German Helmet

A fine WW2 FFI Victory Painted Souvenir German M42 Helmet.This is a fantastic example of a souvenir painted helmet. M42 helmet with hand painted cartoonist panels featuring to the front a satiric Hitler and Mussolini in a dance astride a flaming bomb! Certainly one of the best possible I think to be found on these helmets. To the sides the army decal has had an FFI ( Free French) alteration, and to the other a gather of Allied flags. To the rear a surrendering Hitler with his arms raised in a 'V' for victory stance. Has its original leather liner ( looks to be a late war example.)Overall this is a cracking wartime souvenir and a most interesting addition to the German helmet collector.
