Australia WW2 25 Pounder Trench Art Ashtray

Brass 25-pounder shell case cut off above the base and made into an ashtray with 3 indentations to hold cigarettes and set in the middle of the ashtray is a .50 calibre machine gun round. The base dated 1942. The .50 cal is not removable.
