WW2 RAAF Trench Art Aeroplane Ash Tray

165mm high. A lovely example of the well known aeroplane ash tray. Nickel plated brass with a green glass ash tray insert. The plane looks to be an Avro Ansen, a well known training and air sea reconnaissance and multi-role aircraft. The base is 95mm wide and the ash tray is 73mm in diam.
