Original era manufacture. Thin white cotton banner measuring just under 4.5 feet in length. Upon the banner are 1,005 individually handwritten symbols for 'Strength-Power', likely done by a friend or family member approaching people individually to write the symbol on the flag so as to transfer their strength to the soldier or sailor.
