US WWI, M1905 Bayonet & 2nd Model Leather Scabbard, SA 1918

Original period manufacture. SA 1918 dated blade with a bright steel patina finish,  light mottling to the metal surface, no corrosion pitting, slightly rounded point.Rough-hewn walnut grips, mix of blue and dark patina finish to the pommel and guard, chip in the top of the left side grip plate. Brown leather covered scabbard with a 1910 pattern belt hook suspension. Wear to the leather on the scabbard tip, tearing at the base of the leather belt hook strap.
