9th Mississauga Horse

Brass helmet badge with 2 loops to reverse. Raised as Toronto Mounted Rifles in 1901 before becoming 9th Mississauga in 1907. Then became Ontario Mounted Rifles in 1920 and finally amalgamated with the Governor General's Bodyguard in 1936 to form the Governor General's Horse Guards. Ref Bosleys Sept 2004
