Liverpool Rifle Brigade QVC

Cast blackened brass headdress badge with 2 loops to reverse. Came from 5th Corps 2nd Admin Battalion. In 1862 consolidated as 5th Lancs. (Liverpool Rifle Volunteer Brigade). Became 2nd VB King's in 1888 and regiment's 6th Battalion in 1908. Ref Westlake Rifle Volunteers p88
