26th Indian Division

Woven on silk formation sign. Fought extensively in Burma. Relieved the 7th Indian Division in the 'box' at Sinzwya, offensive through Mandalay, Meiktila and the Irrawaddy. Used in many amphibious landings including the retaking of Rangoon. Ref Cole p82
