Japanese WWII Type 30 Bayonet, Arrow M, Rubberized Scabbard

Original era manufacture. Rubberized canvas scabbard with attached frog, and a later war manufacture, Arrow M proofed bayonet.Straight guard, flattened bird-head pommel, contoured wooden grips and a blue finished blade made with fullers. Original wooden grips show typical wear and use.Basically sound rubberized canvas scabbard with integral frog, stitching and rivets are present, showing typical breaks in the fabric of the belt loops. The surface has developed some thin cracks from age and wear, yet remains pliable enough that the blade can be easily drawn and inserted.
