M42 Wehrmacht tropical tan colored camouflage steel helmet ckl66

Beautiful and worn late war M42 steel helmet produced by ckl. Covered in light subtle sprayed tan color for a tropical front (Greece, Italy…) but also seen on the Western front. Complete with original liner, dated 1943 size 58. The leather remains strong and soft, but has a weak and dry spot in the neck. The split pins remain straight. Dome stamp is still partially visible in the neck. Lot number 3897 indicated this is a late war produced M42 helmet with no decals. Maker marked in the rear by ckl, size 66. Honest late war camouflage helmet!
