WW2 RAF Escape Compass - Hair Brush dated 1941

A 1941 dated military issued hairbrush with ingeniously concealed compass. The brush is manufactured by C. Leng & Sons, also makers of military shaving brushes used to concealed escape compasses. The escape compass is revealed by removing a small central section of bristles held in place by a rubber type grommet.
