WW2 Army Shaving Brush - Escape Compass

Rare find, this is an early war period cartwheel type escape compass concealed within the base of a white bristled shaving brush. The brush is manufactured by Halex Ltd, dated 1941 with the crows foot. This brush would probably have been issued to an army officer serving in the North African campaign.
