German WWII S84/98 Bayonet & Scabbard 1940, Berg & Co.

Original era manufacture. A clean condition WWII German K98 service bayonet, the blade produced by Berg & Co. and the scabbard by fze41. Most of the original blue finish remains on the blade, guard and pommel with a black paint finish on the scabbard, dark plum bakelite grips.  Waffenamt proofs remain on the pommel. The scabbard throat screw is in place. Nice clean bayonet dated 40 on the blade spine.
