WW2 Home Front - Hospitals Emergency Service Badge

The Emergency Hospital Scheme was setup in order to coordinate greater cooperation between hospitals ensuring that casualties would receive immediate treatment at the nearest hospital then be transferred quickly to other hospitals thereafter. The badge measures 17mm in diameter and is constructed of brass with red and blue enamel.
