WW2 GQ Irvin Parachute Seal

In the early period of the war training of Polish soldiers was carried out by PTS No.1 at Ringway with the intention of parachuting them into occupied Poland. At that time there was no official graduation badge and therefore the Irvin Parachute Seal was adopted. A small enamelled badge with GQ Parachute stamped to the back - measures approx 36 x 16mm.
