Victorian Sutherland Rifle Volunteers (Rogart) Company Officers Plaid Brooch.

A Lovely silvered example of this scarce brooch. Formed in 1861 by Harriet Duchess of Sutherland who was a favourite companion of Queen Victoria. They were the 4th Corps of the 1st Sutherland Rifle Volunteers. They became a volunteer Battalion Seaforth Highlanders in 1881
