Formed on 31st August 1859 the badge is blackened metal (bronze or brass) 6cm x 5cm The arms of the City of Edinburgh. 2 brass lugs to rear. An original scarce RV badge. Worn on the shako and the forage cap. Bloomer Brown Book No 38
