Georgian Silver Mounted Scottish Snuff Mull

Circa 1800 Scottish black horn snuff mull with white horn hinged lid and decorated with a silver thistle and cartouche. It is in very good condition for something that is over 200 years old. The main body of the mull has some surface cracks and the cork stopper inside the lid has shrunk over time and it no longer has an airtight fit. It measures 3 inches long and approximately 1.5 x 1.75 at the lid.
