3rd Pattern Fairbairn Sykes Fighting Knife & Sheath.

A very good 3rd pattern Fairbairn Sykes type fighting knife with a 4.75 inch blackened brass hilt with a steel cross guard, this is stamped with the makers mark for R cooper, Shefield. It has a good steel blade with most of its original bluing remaining. The very tip of the blade is rounded slightly and overall, this knife has had some use. It comes with its original sheath with brass chape and elastic retainer at the top. There is a name written on the back, probably the original owner. It measures 13 inches long.
