Soviet Order of the Patriotic War 2nd Class 80's Issue.

High quality badge type award with vibrant red enamels on silver. It was first awarded during the 2nd world war for Heroic deeds during the war in all areas of service. This example is engraved on the back with the issue number 3829132, which would make it a 1980's issue. These were awarded to any remaining WW2 veterans still living. The last medal issued in 1985. This one is in very good condition with screw back, back plate missing and showing slight wear to the front surface.
