Georgian Irish Militia Cross Belt Plate

Not my field of expertise but is a genuine piece of Irish History. Crown above the Maid of Erin with the letter K to the left and I to the right (Killarney Infantry?) The plate has some wear. and may once have been silvered. a number of slight scratches which may have been caused through wire brushing. Now in a good clean state and presents well. Hook and two eyes to rear. 3,25 inches tall and 2.50 wide.
