Late Victorian Fireman's Axe.

A late Victorian Fireman's axe or hatchet with a good, forged steel head with a Cannock makers mark and a registration number for 1901/2. It has an elm wood shaft and the long tang of the axe fits and is bolted to the shaft. It is in lovely original condition and measures 16 inches long.
