This is the second pattern HP worn from around 1850 on a black leather helmet with a separate scroll stating East Lothian Yeomanry Cavalry and was worn up until the name changed to Lothians and Berwickshire Yeomanry Cavalry in 1888 when they adopted the metal helmet.. two tangs and a screwpost to rear, Gilded brass, gilt faded
