1930's German Third Reich Forestry Schirmmuetze

A scarce 1930's German Forestry Service Schirmmuetze or visor cap circa 1934 -38. It is made of green wool with green piping, it has the Reich eagle and a green enamel cockade to the centre. It has its original two-colour cord chin strap and inside a silk liner with and leather sweat band. It comes in very good used condition, the eagle has one of its pins broken, this still remains in the cap, the second pin is holding the eagle in place. The two-colour cord chin strap is faded and a little dirty. There are as far as I can see, one small moth hole. But as usual it has been treated. A very attractive early cap in very nice condition.
