Enameled medal, an Iron Cross equivalent, one of three varieties produced to honor the soldiers and civilians, of the German Hanseatic cities, Bremen, Hamburg and Lubeck. of the 80,000 awarded, Hamburg was the most numerous, 50,000, Bremen next with 20,000 and lastly Lubeck 8,000-10,000. Old replacement ribbon, no enamel damage.
