2 Large WW2 Era German Elastolin Soldiers.

A pair of WW2 German soldiers made from Elstoline a mixture of sawdust and glue, cast in parts, put together and hand painted. Elstoline first appeared during the first world war, I believe, when there was no metal available for making toys. Here we have a pair of German soldiers shooting rifles in full field kit. Marked on the bottom with the Elastoline trade mark and both are in very good condition, one soldier missing part of rifle; measuring just under 3 inches high.
