Victorian Royal Berkshire regiment Officers Pagri Badge

A most unusual pagri badge to the Royal Berkshire Regiment. Post 1885 and most probably a private modification for foreign service. The circlet is as the Other Ranks helmet Plate centre, but has been gilded. The centre is silver as the 1881 helmet plate, which is based on the old Royal Berkshire Militia, but with a red felt backing.
