WW1 Era British Red Cross Society Cap Badge

A nice clean example of a WW1 era Red Cross cap badge made from brass with red and white enamel centre, it carries the legend 'inter arma caritas' or humanity in war. It comes in very good condition with mild wear to the enamel and measures 1.25 inches long.
