Book – History of the Queen's Royal Regiment Ninth Lancers

This book is a bit of a pickle, the inner contents are Victorian in date, the outer cover probably from the late 1980's when it was rebound. On the spine it reads 'Cannon History of the Queen's Royal Regiment Ninth Lancers' Cannon being Richard Cannon Esq adjutant generals officer Horse Guards, the inner Victorian frontispiece has 'by command of his late majesty (William IV) her majesty the Queen historical records of the British army' on another leaf 'historical record of the ninth or the Queen's Royal regiment of Light Dragoon Lancers from 1715 to 1841' and this is what the book appears to be about. I think it was originally in a library and was subsequently cancelled then rebound, someone has noted a missing plate and there is a loose page at the back otherwise it is in very good condition.
